Updating Your Browser to the Latest Version

RevolutionEHR v6.2.0 provides the first look at the Polaris Initiative, a RevolutionEHR initiative to deliver more freedom to customers by transforming the user experience.

The Polaris user experience incorporates the latest standards in user interface technology for developing web applications across platforms and devices including mobile and tablets.

In order to access the Polaris user experience, you need to be running the latest version of a supported browser.  Please note that if you plan to start Stage 2 MU on 4.1.14, you will need to access the Polaris user experience.

Regardless of which RevolutionEHR user experience you choose in v6.2.0, be it Polaris or our classic user experience, using the latest version of a supported browser ensures you will have the best user experience possible with RevolutionEHR.  In fact, a recent analysis of RevolutionEHR browser sessions revealed that over 1,000 computers accessing RevolutionEHR are using an outdated version of Internet Explorer.

It’s time to update your browsers! Not only will you have a better user experience, you should be aware that running older or unsupported browser versions may pose security risks and cause performance degradation.

RevolutionEHR Supported Browsers and Update Instructions

Supported browsers for the PC are Chrome, FireFox, and Internet Explorer.

Supported browsers for the Mac are Chrome, FireFox and Safari.

To ensure you are running the latest version of a supported browser, see the instructions below:

NOTE: The best way to keep your browser version up to date is to turn on automatic browser updates.

Firefox

Open Firefox.  For Mac, go to the Firefox menu and then About Firefox.  For PC, go to Help About.

You will be notified if you are using the latest version or not. If not, follow the instructions to get the latest version.

Chrome

Open Chrome and go to About Google Chrome. You will be notified if you are using the latest version or not. If not, follow the instructions to get the latest version.

Internet Explorer

Open Internet Explorer and browse to www.microsoft.com/ie to download the latest version.

Safari

Go to the Apple menu and then hit Software Update, any software that is in need will show up.
