Introducing Document and Image Scanning

We’re pleased to announce document and image scanning!

Yes, you read that right, and we think you’re going to love it.  In fact, here’s a quote from Nikki Stevensen, one of our beta users – “I love the RevolutionEHR scanning!!  I think it works well and it makes scanning into patient charts go much faster!”

Documents and images can now be scanned directly into RevolutionEHR.  The scanning feature is available through the Documents/Images component of the Patient File.

A note about required software:

Please be assured that the integration requires no extra software to be purchased. RevolutionEHR has purchased the required Dynamsoft software licensing for our entire customer base to use the integration at no extra cost.

Unfortunately, when first launching the integration from the scanning button in Documents and Images, some customers were seeing a pop up window generated directly from Dynamsoft instructing them to click a button to download Dynamic Web TWAIN software. Clicking that button directs users to download software that must be purchased.  Again, please note that you do NOT need to purchase any software, a separate download is provided by RevolutionEHR – free of charge.

Closing the Dynamsoft pop up will allow you to use the link that is shown on page 4 of the manual, or if you would prefer to download the free software prior to launching the integration, please see the links below:
