RevolutionEHR ICD-10 Updates
Posted: March 3, 2015

As we move closer to the ICD-10 coding deadline of October 1, 2015, the flurry of industry communications, warnings and to-do lists only seems to grow.

There is a lot of information to sort through, so I wanted to take a moment to provide a RevolutionEHR ICD-10 update to give you clarity on how we will be supporting you in the transition to ICD-10 coding requirements.  Our goal is to ensure every RevolutionEHR user has access to the necessary training, support, and product features to make ICD-10 coding as easy and seamless as possible in your practice.

Here are a few specific updates I wanted to call your attention to now:

ICD-10 Test Participation

You may have received notification from CMS about participating in ICD-10 acknowledgement testing with your clearinghouse.

If you are using the RevolutionEHR integration with either Trizetto (Gateway) or Apex for your clearinghouse, there is no action necessary. We will complete the ICD-10 acknowledgement testing with our integrated clearinghouse partners.

However, if you are using a different clearinghouse than Trizetto or Apex, we recommend you contact them to learn more about their ICD-10 testing procedures and status.

RevolutionEHR Managing ICD-10 since 2014 with More to Come

Our ICD-10 preparation work has been progressing since 2014 when we loaded ICD-10 codes into the Administration section of RevolutionEHR. In an upcoming release we will be adding enhancements to your practice’s listing of common ICD-10 codes as well as providing mapping assistance for transitioning ICD-9 to applicable ICD-10 codes.

RevolutionEHR ICD-10 Training and Support

We are developing a variety of training resources designed to assist you in incorporating ICD-10 coding into the daily life of your practice well before the deadline of October 1, 2015.

Stay tuned for more updates on ICD-10 related topics, training, how-to webinars and on going support as we roll out those resources.
