As you might be aware, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) recently proposed the official framework for MIPS which will “grade” you based on your participation in quality reporting programs like MU, PQRS, and the Value-Based Payment Modifier. Ultimately, your scoring relative to your peers will determine the payments you receive from Medicare and potentially affect your access to patients in the years ahead.
