RevolutionEHR Release 6.2.19
Posted: December 13, 2016

The release of RevolutionEHR 6.2.19 will take place Thursday, January 5th at 11:00pm CST. The system will be unavailable for approximately 4 hours during this time. If you are logged in at 11:00pm CST on January 5th, you will receive an error message and may lose data currently being entered. It is very important that you log off prior to 11:00pm CST on January 5th.

This release activates SmartFlow for Sight™ (SmartFlow). SmartFlow is our technology that enables a more efficient and accurate product ordering experience within RevolutionEHR.

In future releases, SmartFlow will enable ordering contact lenses, eyeglass lenses, and frames directly from product companies. To enable SmartFlow for future ordering, you will need to accept the Rev360 GPO agreement (instructions are provided in the release notes).

For this release, SmartFlow helps enable contact lens RX range and parameter validation. The contact lens RX range and parameter validation enhancement provides greater efficiency in the exam room and greater accuracy when ordering contact lenses.

Other features of this release include:

  • Barcode Printer Integration – We now integrate with certain printers, which provides a more efficient and effective way to print labels. This integration allows for ‘one-click’ print and the ability to print labels in a batch.
  • Inventory Enhancements
    • Inventory Item Lookup – You can now quickly search to see if another location has an item in stock.
    • Item Pricing – Allows pricing updates to impact both the product and item retail price. This eliminates the need to manually update the retail price for each item.
    • Practice catalog – Non-imported products will be available across all locations within your practice.
  • Existing Scanning Integration Upgrade – This update will restore Mac compatibility. (Following the release, all users of the scanning integration will be prompted to download the latest version of Dynamic Web Twain software.)
  • New tests are being added to the test library.
