How do you add an external provider to a patient's file?

From the patient’s file go to the “provider” component under “Show More”. If the external provider does not yet exist in your data base you can use the blue “+” button next to the provider drop down to add a new external provider “on the fly”: Once you finish entering the new provider information they will automatically populate the provider drop down for the patient. You can then select the “Provider Role” click “Save Changes” and you will have added a new provider to the database and also associated that provider to the patient from the same screen.
