Can you cancel an encounter after it has been started?

Yes, you can cancel an exam that is “in progress” from the patient’s file. After you open the patient file, click into exam history. Click once to highlight the encounter that you want to cancel and then click the “cancel encounter” button, which is located in the bottom left corner.
