Can you change the encounter type once the appointment has already been started?

If you would like to change the type you must cancel the first encounter and start a new one. This can be done in the encounter history screen. Highlight the appointment that you want to cancel and click “cancel encounter”, from that same screen you can ” create encounter” and chose the correct encounter you need. When you cancel the encounter it will also cancel the appointment in appointment history and the new encounter you created will create a new appt in appointment history. Please remember that you can always add tests and screens on the fly to your encounter when needed.
