Slots are used to place appointments in pre-configured spots. This can be set up in the scheduling module and customized based on each practices preferences. Setting up slots is done by first clicking ‘New’ and then ‘appointment slot’. A new window will appear on the right hand side of your screen and you will need to fill out the appropriate time, doctor, encounter type, and color that will appear on schedule. Then choose the drop down that says recurrence and choose which days of the week this slot will be used for and extend the date out a year and then SAVE. This process needs to be done for every slot you which to make.
